In cleaning, it is necessary to release the adhesion of the impurities to the fibers and to give to particles an opportunity to separate from the stock.

Dirt, dust, foreign matter, and nepsshould be eliminated.

Owing to machine harvesting, cotton contains more and more impurities, which furthermore are shattered by hard ginning.

The available possibilities for cleaning

natural fibers can be divided broadly three

method.

Chemical cleaning.

Wet cleaning.

Mechanical cleaning.

RN Cleaner is a part of Trützschler machine.

It is a zone-4 (fine cleaning) machine.

In contrast to the zone-2 machines, those of zone-4 must again produce new surfaces, i.e. the cleaning operation must be preceded by opening.

Zone-4 machines therefore almost always operate with clamp feeds.

Also, the spacing of the striker elements on the rollers must be finer.

Bladed rollers are generally used, the well-known horizontal cleaner, fitted with rollers instead of drums.

Trützschler cleaner is presented here as a representative of all other cleaners.

Baffle plate (a) is a device which is made of metal that typically rests on the inside of cylinder of beater arrangement.

It is slightly curved shape.
