Out-Googling Google and Out-Searching Searchers

Preview:

DESCRIPTION

Now that our smart phones can search the web for us, how do librarians set themselves apart from anyone with access to Google? We must stay on top of new search techniques and approaches and get more value from digital content. Mary Ellen covers how to get the most value from social media and how to out-search anyone, even your clients. This presentation was given at the 2014 ALLA Conference in Adelaide, Australia on Sept. 12, 2014.
