MeaningOrganisational change is a structured approach to shifting individuals, teams, and organizations from a current state to a desired future state. It is an organizational process aimed at empowering employees to accept and embrace changes in their current business environment.[

Change Agent

Meaning

Change agents are the persons who initiate change and  manage change in the organizations. They are specialized  in theory and practice of managing changes. A change agent may be a full time organisational development professional, a leader of a division or a middle manager charged with the responsibility of bringing about a change in his/her area.

Requisites of change agent

Common sense and the courage to use it. Credibility and trust A wide range of business knowledge Knowledge of change management. Self confidence balanced by humility. Coaching skills.A love of innovation and new ways of doing thingsA sense of humour and a sense of fun. The ability to inspire people.
