• Know yourself, your opposition, & the environment within which interaction will occur.

• Keep attention of all resources & related action focused on achieving your strategic objectives as promptly as possible.

• Understand, & guard against, the inherent disadvantage in every advantageous situation.

• Be moral & ethical in all things.

• Rely on your own preparation.

• Do not hope for success based on the opposition not preparing.

• Minimize emotional influences (hope, fear, greed).

• Ensure appropriate financing & provisioning of all activities (prior to and during).

• Avoid catastrophic mistakes by promptly adapting strategies & tactics to account forimmediate circumstances.
