Explain the role of database in SAP’s three-

tier system

SAP’S three-tier

• is the former name of the enterprise resource planning software produced by the German corporation SAP AG.

• It is an enterprise-wide information system designed to coordinate all the resources, information, and activities needed to complete business processes such as order fulfillment, billing, human resource management, and production planning (wikipedia).

Explain why distributed architectures are flexible

• distributed architectures system is a software system in which components located on networked computers communicate and coordinate their actions by passing messages.

• Data stored in multiple computers, or maybe dispersed over a network

• Allow transaction processed on many machines and available to all users

• Flexible for the purposes of expansion of the database and transparency

• Cost less to create a network of smaller computers with the power of single large computer,

SCM• is the software tools or modules used in executing supply chain
