How to bake PIERick Turoczy, PIE (and Silicon Florist)

Who am I?

At PIE, we make things. We make products. We make companies.

We make connections. We make ideas into prototypes. We make

entrepreneurs into leaders.

Three months

So why did we do this?

To make new mistakes.

Corporations have scale but they want innovation.

Startups have innovation but they want scale.

But honestly? Both have the same exact problems.

PIE is designed to mediate that collaboration.

So how about that recipe?

3 parts large companies

100 parts mentors

20 parts curriculum

10 parts entrepreneurs

Bake. Taste. Tweak.

Can Providence provide these ingredients?

Buck up, little camper.

Large health care company

Mentors galore

Intrapreneurs

So let’s get to cooking, Providence.

Want some pro tips from someone who has failed and made mistakes?*

*Mentorship

Anyone can do this. Anyone.

Have a grand vision.

But take thousands of iterations to get there.

Don’t be afraid to stop.

Try different combinations.

Get feedback. From everyone.

Don’t confuse innovation with invention.

Failure is an option. But not a scary one.

Learn from mistakes. Make new ones.

It’s called an experiment for a reason.

Thank you.

Now, where did I make mistakes?
