All of UGL’s business operations apply our
Environmental Policy in order to reduce our
impact on the environment.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICYOur environmental policy helps us understand and manage the way our business activities impact the environment, as well as helps us identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Greenhouse gas emissions as a result of our energy use
• Greenhouse gas emissions from business travel
• The production of waste going to landfill
• The environmental impact from our suppliers
SIGNIFICANTENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS
OUR CARBON FOOTPRINTUGL’s reduced carbon footprint involves an acknowledgment to climate change through minimized energy consumption, publicly reporting our emissions and water usage and more.
ENVIRONMENTALCERTIFICATION
UGL has achieved a certification in Australia for Environmental Management System to the International Standard ISO14001 and our Singapore operations have achieved certification to ISO 14001.
ENVIRONMENTALREGULATION PERFORMANCE
Our environmental obligations are regulated under the Australian Federal and State law including the reporting requirements of the National Greenhouse Energy Reporting Act 2007. UGL must report greenhouse gas emissions, energy production and energy use annually.
