Objective: •  To decongest Abuja-Keffi Road which is causing a colossal loss of lives

as a result of incessant traffic accidents; loss of man-hour in productivity; and stress, arising from locked-up traffic. The traffic logjam on this road deteriorates during the morning and evening rush hours.

•  The high density of the population along Abuja-Keffi road axis contributes significantly to the chaotic traffic situation.

1. Provide an alternative route for commuters and travelers. 2. Minimize security threats posed by the over-flow of heavy traffic around the Three Arms Zone, where the seat of government is located 3. Open up vast area for the development of additional Districts.
