In release 1 there are three VPN topology options

---- Point to Point, generally symmetric with 100Mbit/s access at both sites, Port to Port connection CPE not required to apply VLANs to determine destination

---- Spoke to spoke, generally symmetric with 100Mbit/s access at both sites

---- Hub to spoke, generally asymmetric with 1Gbit/s access at the hub and 100Mbit/s access at the spoke. The customer can opt to use a mixture of VLAN and port mappings.

---- Hub to spoke with protected access, equivalent to Resilience Access Option 1, for both 100Mbit/s and 1Gbit/s access

VPLS/any to any will be available in a future release

Logical Connections have 2 flavours (both connection oriented)

– Uncontended Clear Bandwidth – Premium

– Burstable – Best Effort / Standard
