In 2009, a journey to better myself began.

Here at Wilkes Community College, I chose

Automotive Service Technology as my major.

Competed in Skills USA, North Carolina State Conference in

2010, 2011and 2012.

I have had one year of experience working with my Dad at Bennett’s Automotive and Wrecker Service.

While working there I had to have the ability to diagnose and repair numerous makes and models of automobiles.

I also have 3 years of shop experience working at Wilkes Community College.

SKILLS

-Knack for using online repair data and hard copies.-Service all forms of drive trains.-Set up and use a welder, oxy acetylene torch and plasma cutter.-Diagnose engine performance problems.

After I graduate in August 2012, I plan to begin getting my ASE certifications and hopefully get

my master certification.
