Good Things Grow Community Mural – in Progress

Transforming an empty lot into a park, Good Things Grow has created a public space that will serve a deserving community for generations to come. But this is only the start!

Thanks to all of our generous donors, we’ve planted an orchard at the Roosevelt Wellness Center that will teach students about Arizona’s green history, teach families about the need for nutrition, and teach a community about their right to a positive quality of life. Now comes the fun part.

We need you to donate (https://goodthingsgrow-neighborhoodleaders.nationbuilder.com/donate) to our effort to plant fruit trees and an edible garden at each of our eighteen Roosevelt elementary campuses so that students can get their hands dirty while learning about STEM, sustainability, and nutrition. From irrigation lines to fruit trees to public art, these orchards are not free.

With your help, we can stop just talking about improving education and the environment for our children and begin to actually build community spaces that make change visible. Donate now: https://goodthingsgrow-neighborhoodleaders.nationbuilder.com/donate.
