Jida Wang is an American Chinese sculptor, born in 1935 in Beijing. Graduated from Department of Sculpture of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, 1962. Moved to Mongolia (1966), and specialized in herdsmen and horses. The artist continued his postgraduate’s study here before an investigation tour in 1983, and then settled in New York, with his artist wife Jin Gao (1933-2006)Member Chinese Pottery and Porcelain Art Association, Inner Mongolian Sculpture Association, Chinese Artists Association and American National Sculpture Society
